Expedition 33/34 (ISS-33/34)
MAIN TASKS OF THE INCREMENT
IN THE ISS-33 PHASE
(September 17 - November 19, 2012)
- Launch of two ISS-33/34 Russian crewmembers and one NASA crewmember by transport manned vehicle Soyuz TMA-06M;
- Docking of Soyuz TMA-06M vehicle to Mini Research Module Poisk (MRM2);
- Partial unloading of Progress M-16M cargo vehicle;
- docking of CV Dragon CRS 1 to Module Node2-Nadir;
- undocking of CV Dragon CRS 1 from Module Node2-Nadir;
- Operational support for docking of Progress M-17M cargo vehicle to the instrument compartment of Service Module Zvezda;
- Partial unloading of Progress M-17M cargo vehicle;
- Operational support of loading and undocking of Soyuz TMA-05M vehicle from Mini Research Module MRM 1 Rassvet (return of three ISS-32/33 crewmembers);
- Support of the Space Station functionality;
- Performance of the science and application research program and experiments;
- Conduct of photo and video imagery of the ISS RS flight.
The ISS-33 crew consists of 3 persons (September 17 - October 25, 2012) and 6 persons (October 25 - November 19, 2012).
MAIN TASKS OF THE INCREMENT
IN THE ISS-34 PHASE
(November 19, 2012 - March 16, 2013)
- Launch of one ISS-34/35 Russian crewmember, one NASA (USA) crewmember and one CSA (Canada) crewmember by transport manned vehicle Soyuz TMA-07M;
- Docking of Soyuz TMA-07M vehicle to Mini Research Module Rassvet (MRM1);
- Final unloading of Progress M-16M and Progress M-17M cargo vehicles;
- Operational support for loading and undocking of Progress
M-16M vehicle from Module Pirs (DC1);
- docking of CV Dragon SpX-2 to Module Node2-Nadir;
- Implementation of extra vehicular activity, namely two US EVA's on the ISS US Segment;
- Operational support for docking to Module Pirs (DC1) of Progress M-18M;
- Partial unloading of Progress M-18M vehicle;
- Operational support for loading and undocking of Soyuz TMA-06M spacecraft from Mini Research Module MRM2 Poisk (return to the Earth of three ISS-33/34 crewmembers);
- Support of the Space Station functionality;
- Performance of the science and application research program and experiments;
- Conduct of photo and video imagery of the ISS RS flight.
The ISS-34 crew consists of 3 persons (November 19 - December 21, 2012) and 6 persons (December 21, 2012 - March 16, 2013).
