The State Commission meeting

The State Commission held its meeting at Baikonur launch site where the primary and backup crews for Soyuz TMA-04M were approved and the readiness of the space launcher system was confirmed.

The State Commission approved the proposed composition of the primary and backup crews.

Prime crew: Padalka Gennagy Ivanovich (Roscosmos, Russia), ISS-31 Flight Engineer, ISS-32 Commander, Soyuz TMA-04M Commander; Revin Sergey Nikolaevich (Roscosmos, Russia), ISS-31/32 Flight Engineer, Soyuz TMA-04M Flight Engineer; Acaba Joseph Michael (NASA, USA), ISS-31/32 Flight Engineer, Soyuz TMA-04M Flight Engineer.

Backup crew: Novitsky Oleg Viktorovich (Roscosmos, Russia)), ISS-31 Flight Engineer, ISS-32 Commander, Soyuz TMA-04M Commander; Tarelkin Evgeny Igorevich (Roscosmos, Russia), ISS-31/32 Flight Engineer, Soyuz TMA-04M Flight Engineer; Kevin Antony Ford (NASA, USA), ISS-31/32 Flight Engineer, Soyuz TMA-04M Flight Engineer.

The members of the primary and backup crews reported their readiness for the mission.

The launch of the Soyuz-FG integrated launch vehicle with the Soyuz TMA-04M spacecraft to the ISS Orbital Complex is planned for May 15, 2012 at 7:01 a.m. Moscow time.
