The General Designers Review Board meeting devoted to the Russian Segment of the International Space Station: no obstacles to work under the program

The General Designers Review Board meeting devoted to the Russian Segment of the International Space Station (ISS) was held at S.P. Korolev Rocket & Space Corporation Energia under the chairmanship of V.A. Lopota, the Corporation President and General Designer.

The following reports and messages were heard at the meeting:

On prelaunch processing progress of manned transport vehicle Soyuz ТМА-04М and Soyuz ТМА-22 preparation for flight completion;
On the ISS mission results flight program for the next period, readiness of the ISS Lead Operational Control Team (LOCT) and flight support systems for implementation of the next ISS-31 Expedition program and completion of the ISS-29/30 Expedition flight;
On flight readiness of Soyuz-FG launch vehicle to launch Soyuz ТМА-04М vehicle;
Launch site readiness to launch the Rocket & Space complex with Soyuz ТМА-04М vehicle;
ISS USOS status and readiness for the next flight phase;
Status of cargo vehicle ATV-3 Edoardo Amaldi and its systems;
On readiness of ground control loop (GCL) and ground control infrastructure for forthcoming operations with Soyuz ТМА-04М, Soyuz ТМА-22 and ISS;
On readiness of search and rescue aids to perform operations in support of Soyuz ТМА-22 landing and Soyuz ТМА-04М launch;
On readiness of the ISS-31 Expedition crew to implement the forthcoming work program on the ISS and the ISS-29/30 Expedition crew to descend;
On health status of the ISS-29, ISS-30 and ISS-31 crews;
On compliance of Soyuz ТМА-04М vehicle with technical specifications and standard documentation.

Heard were the coreports, messages and statements of General Designers, responsible representatives of the organizations and enterprises involved in the ISS program implementation.

No obstacles to continue work under the ISS program.

The General Designers Review Board decided to approve:

RSC Energia proposals on the ISS-29/30 Expedition crew return by Soyuz ТМА-22 on April 27, 2012;
RSC Energia proposals on the plan of forthcoming operations for Soyuz ТМА-04М prelaunch processing on May 15, 2012; the crew delivery for the next ISS Expedition to the ISS; the crew consists of three persons: (G. Padalka, S. Revin, J. Acaba); the work program on the ISS RS for the next period; research and experiments program in the next ISS Expedition phase;
and allow the ISS RS to implement a program for the next ISS operation phase.

The General Designers Review Board was attended by managers and representatives of Roscosmos, foreign space agencies (NASA, ESA, JAXA), RSC Energia departments, organizations and enterprises implementing the ISS program.
