Expedition 31/32 (ISS-31/32)
MAIN TASKS OF THE INCREMENT
IN THE ISS-31 PHASE
(April 27 - July 1, 2012)
- Operational support for docking of CV SpX-D to the Module Node2-Nadir;
- Launch of two ISS-31/32 Russian crewmembers and one NASA (USA) crewmember by Soyuz TMA-04M spacecraft;
- Docking of Soyuz TMA-04M spacecraft to Mini Research Module Poisk (MRM2);
- Operational support for loading and undocking of CVSpX-D from Module Node2-Nadir;
- Partial unloading of Progress M-15M vehicle;
- Operational support for loading and undocking of Soyuz TMA-03M spacecraft from Mini Research Module MRM1 Rassvet (return to the Earth of three ISS-30/31 crewmembers);
- Support of the Space Station functionality;
- Performance of the science and application research program and experiments.
The ISS-31 crew consists of 3 persons (April 27 - May 17, 2012) and 6 persons (May 17 - July 1,
2012).
MAIN TASKS OF THE INCREMENT
IN THE ISS-32 PHASE
(July 1 - September 17, 2012)
- Launch of one ISS-32/33 Russian and two NASA crewmembers by Soyuz TMA-05M vehicle;
- Docking of Soyuz TMA-05M vehicle to Mini Research Module Rassvet (MRM1);
- Operational support for docking of HTV3 vehicle to Module Node 2-Nadir;
- Operational support for loading and undocking of HTV3 vehicle from Module Node2-Nadir;
- Operational support for final unloading, loading and undocking of Progress M-15M vehicle from Module Pirs (DC1);
- Implementation of extra vehicular activity, namely one Russian egress (EVA) on the ISS Russian Segment and one US EVA on
the ISS US Segment;
- Operational support for docking to Module Pirs (DC1) and partial unloading of Progress M-16M;
- Operational support for loading and undocking of Soyuz TMA-04M from Mini Research Module MRM2 Poisk (return to the ground of three ISS-31/32 crewmembers);
- Support of the Space Station functionality;
- Performance of the science and application research program and experiments;
- Onboard photography and video imaging of the ISS RS flight chronology.
The ISS-32 crew consists of 3 persons (July 1 - 17, 2012) and 6 persons (July 17 - September 17, 2012).
