Expedition 25/26 (ISS-25/26)
MAIN TASKS OF THE INCREMENT
IN THE ISS-25 PHASE
(September 25, 2010 - November 26, 2010)
- Launch of two ISS-25/26 Russian crewmembers and one NASA (USA) crewmember by Soyuz TMA-M spacecraft;
- Docking of Soyuz TMA-M spacecraft to Mini Research Module Poisk (MRM2);
- Operational support for docking of Space Shuttle orbiter during mission ULF5;
- Operational support for loading and undocking of Progress M-05M from Module Pirs (DC-1);
- Partial unloading of Progress M-07M vehicles;
- Operational support for docking of Progress M-08M to the Module Pirs (DC-1);
- Operational support for loading and undocking of Soyuz TMA-19 spacecraft from Mini Research Module MRM1 Rassvet (return to the Earth of ISS-24/25 crewmembers);
- Performance of two EVA sessions by Russian crewmembers to the ISS Russian segment;
- Support of the Space Station functionality;
- Performance of the science and application research program and experiments;
- Participation in flight design tests of MRM1 Rassvet and MRM2 Poisk.
The ISS-25 crew consists of 3 persons (September 25 - October 10, 2010) and 6 persons (October 10 - November 26, 2010).
MAIN TASKS OF THE INCREMENT
IN THE ISS-26 PHASE
(November 26, 2010- March 16, 2011)
- Launch of one ISS-26/27 Russian crewmember, one NASA (USA) crewmember and one ESA (Italy) crewmember by Soyuz TMA-20 vehicle;
- Docking of Soyuz TMA-20 vehicle to Mini Research Module Rassvet (MRM1);
- Operational support for loading and undocking of Progress M-07M from instrument compartment of Service Module Zvezda (SM IC);
- Operational support for docking of ATV2 to instrument compartment of Service Module Zvezda;
- Operational support for docking of Progress M-09M to Module Pirs (DC-1);
- Operational support for docking of HTV2;
- Operational support for loading and undocking of Soyuz TMA-01M vehicle from Mini Research Module Poisk (return of three ISS-25/26 crewmembers);
- Performance of extravehicular activity- one EVA session by the Russian crewmember to the ISS Russian Segment;
- Support of the Space Station functionality;
- Performance of the science and application research program and experiments;
- Participation in flight design tests of Mini Research Module Rassvet.
The ISS-26 crew consists of 3 persons (26.11.2010-17.12.2010) and 6 persons (17.12.2010-16.03.2011).
