NewsDesigners inspection of SC Soyuz TMA-20M and payload shroud roll were performed at BaikonurMarch 11, 2015Today, on March 11, the RSC Energia (a part of State Corporation ROSCOSMOS) specialists made the designer's inspection of the transport manned vehicle Soyuz TMA-20M and performed technological operations for the launch vehicle encapsulation. The vehicle pre-launch processing under the International Space Station Program is provided at spacecraft assembly & testing facilities (SC ATF) at the Baikonur Cosmodrome. The launch of the Soyuz TMA-20M with the crew of the next expedition to the International Space Station is scheduled for March 19 from Area No. 1 ('Gagarin's launch pad') of the Baikonur Cosmodrome. The main crew of ISS-47/48 includes cosmonauts Alexei Ovchinin (spacecraft commander), Oleg Skripochka (flight engineer, Roscosmos) and astronaut Jeffrey Williams (flight engineer-2, NASA). The backup crew consists of Sergei Ryzhikov (spacecraft commander, Roscosmos), Andrei Borisenko (flight engineer, Roscosmos) and Robert Kimbrough (flight engineer-2, NASA).
