Expedition 47/48 (ISS-47/48)
MAIN TASKS OF THE INCREMENT
IN THE ISS-47 PHASE
(March 2 - June 5, 2016)
- Launch of two Russian ISS-47/48 Expedition crewmembers and one NASA ISS-47/48 Expedition crewmember by vehicle Soyuz ТМА-20М;
- Docking of Soyuz TMA-20M to Mini Research Module Poisk (MRM-2);
- Berthing and unloading of Cygnus OA-6 to Node1-Nadir (to be determined);
- Berthing and unloading of Dragon SpX-9 to Node2-Nadir (to be determined);
- Unloading and undocking of Progress М-29М from IC of SM Zvezda;
- Docking of Progress MC-02 to IC of SM Zvezda and its partial unloading;
- Loading and unberthing of Dragon SpX-9 from Node2-Nadir (to be determined);
- Loading and unberthing of Cygnus OA-6 from Node1-Nadir (to be determined);
- Final unloading of Progress MC;
- Berthing and unloading of Cygnus OA-5 to Node1-Nadir (to be determined);
- Operational support for unloading and undocking of Soyuz ТМА-19М from Mini Research Module Rassvet (MRM-1)
(return of three ISS -45/46/47 Expedition crewmembers);
- Support of the Space Station functionality;
- Performance of one USOS based EVA;
- Performance of science and application research program and experiments;
- Conduct of photo and video imagery of the ISS RS flight and symbolic activity program.
The ISS-47 crew consists of 3 persons (March 2 - March 19, 2016), 6 persons (March 19 - June 5, 2015).
