Expedition 45/46 (ISS-45/46)
MAIN TASKS OF THE INCREMENT
IN THE ISS-45 PHASE
(September 12 - December 22, 2015)
- Loading and undocking of Dragon SpX-8 vehicle from Node-2-Nadir (to be defined);
- Docking and unoading of Cygnus Orb-5 vehicle to Node-2-Nadir (to be defined);
- Final unloading, loading of Progress M-28M cargo vehicle;
- Docking to SM IC and partial unloading of "Progress MS" vehicle;
- Operational support for loading and undocking of Soyuz TMA-17M vehicle from Mini Research Module Rassvet (MRM1) (return to the Earth of three ISS-44/45 crewmembers);
- Support of the Station functionality;
- Performance of the science and application research program and experiments;
- Onboard photographic and video recording of the ISS RS flight history and implementation of symbolic activities program.
The ISS-45 crew consists of 6 persons (September 12 - December 15, 2015), 9 persons (December 15 - December 22, 2015).
MAIN TASKS OF THE INCREMENT
IN THE ISS-46 PHASE
(December 12, 2015 - March 2, 2016)
- Launch of one ISS-46/47 Russian, one NASA and one ESA crewmember by spacecraft Soyuz TMA-19M;
- Docking of Soyuz TMA-19M to Mini Research Module Rassvet (MRM1);
- Docking of Progress MS to Module Pirs (DC1) and partial unloading;
- Loading and undocking of Cygnus Orb-4 from Node1 - Nadir (to be determined);
- Operational support for loading and undocking of spacecraft Soyuz TMA-18M from Mini Research Module Poisk (MRM2) (return of ISS-45/46 three crewmembers to the Earth);
- Docking of Dragon SpX-8 to Node2-Nadir and unloading (to be determined);
- Loading and undocking of Dragon SpX-8 from Node2-Nadir (to be determined);
- Implementation of one EVA from the USOS;
- Support of the Space Station functionality;
- Performance of the science and application research program and experiments;
- Taking the onboard photos, video images of the ISS RS flight history and performing operations under the program of symbolic activities.
The ISS-46 crew consists of 3 persons (December 11 - 15, 2015), 6 persons (December 15, 2015 - March 2, 2016).
