A single-cable hand module with a passive (spring-type) grip.

They together with module 3В 027 present a number (full standard size) of one-cable hands for forearm and arm prostheses.
The "pinch" grip is provided by a special spring. The first finger and block of II-III fingers are fixed in the bent and open positions, when fingers are moved apart for 30 mm (for 3В 029D) and even more. The unfixing is provided during the repeated cable tension.
Block of IV-V fingers is fixed with closed or bent fingers in the "hook" position used for the load carrying, unfixed when the hand is open.
The hand is supplied with a passive rotation unit.
For convenience of preventive maintenance on dorsal sides of palms there are removable caps.
Used with cosmetic skins.

Modules and units of the upper-limb prostheses for children


Modules, units, pre-fabricated products, separate details of the upper-limb prostheses are presented here. In the names of products for the child's prostheses there is word "child" and in the index there is letter "D". All hands (3B), elbows-forearms (4B), cosmetic coverings and shaping sheaths (8B), as well as a number of other units and components are produced both of the right-hand and left-hand design. For the right-hand design letter R is put at the end of the product index but for the left-hand design there is letter L (for example, 3В 021D R - child's frame hand with passive grip, right; 4B 017D L - child's elbow-forearm, left)).

These products are designed for the established service life within prostheses for children, namely 1 year.
The assured service life within prostheses for children (except cosmetic coverings and shaping sheaths) is 1 year.
The assured service life of shaping sheaths is 6 months, the mentioned life of cosmetic coverings is 3 months.
