Sockets Elements

In this Section structural elements of sockets used during their manufacture at prosthetic 8 orthopedic enterprises are presented.

1. Insert 1A 001-06.
   Designed for attachment of the belt to the composite material socket.
   Material is stainless steel.
2. Bushing 1A 001-07.
   Designed for attachment of the strap or bridle ends to the socket made of polymeric and composite materials.
   Material is stainless steel.
3. Screw M6 1A 001-07.1 (for bushing 1A 001-07).
   Material is steel.
4. Unit 1A 004.1-03.
   Designed for the cord (belt) fastening the socket (metal one included) to the body belt.
   Material: steel, plastic.
5. Valve 1A 007 for the hip sockets of sheet thermoplastic.
   Material: valve - rubber; bushing - steel.
6. Bracket 1A 007-01 for the socket shaping for valve 1A 007.
   Material: fluoroplastic.

Special keys for foot modules

1. 12A 001-01 - is designed for foot modules 9A 001 and 9A 001.3 assembly and maintenance.
2. 12A 001-03 - is designed for foot modules 9A 010, 9A 040 assembly and maintenance.
   Material is hardened stainless steel.

General Purpose Keys

Hexahedral faced keys.
They are designed for assembly and maintenance of various modules which have adjustable elements with hexagon sockets for the key.
They are also used for the prosthesis assembly and adjustment of the prosthesis arrangements.
Material is hardened stainless steel.

Caps

Designed for protection of socket adapters (2A) and connectors (3A) flange surfaces from components of composite materials during the socket manufacture.
Cap 12A 009K is used with socket adapters 2A 015K, 2A 016K, connectors 3A 008K, 3A 009K, 3A 014K, 3A 020K.
Cap 12A 013D is used with socket adapter 2A 005D and connector 3A 003D.

Plug

It is used for protection of spherical surfaces and prisms on the tip of connectors and A&CM such as 3A 010, 3A 027, 4A 093 from components of composite materials during the socket manufacture.
