S.P. Korolev Rocket and Space Corporation Energia takes an active part in the proceedings of the 33rd Academic Lectures on Cosmonautics, which began at Bauman Moscow State Technical University (MSTU).
The plenary meeting of the Lectures was opened by the Head of MSTU A.A. Aleksandrov. The keynote speaker at the meeting was first deputy general designer of RSC Energia, chairman of the organizing committee of the Lectures, a member of the Russian Academy of Sciences V.P. Legostaev.

President and General Designer of RSC Energia V.A. Lopota presented to the Chairman of CEC of Russia the company's history, its current activities, advanced projects, and production base of the Corporation. During the meeting, a special emphasis was placed on the programs of social and economic development of the company, including the training of highly skilled scientists and engineers in the framework of the Company's postgraduate and doctoral training center, work with young specialists; providing to corporate specialists housing, medical care and sanatorium-and-spa treatment, pension supplements, organizing the rest and leisure time of the company's employees and their families.

Ceremonies were held on the S.P. Korolev RSC Energia company's premises, in the town of science Korolev, and in Moscow to mark the 106th anniversary of Sergei Pavlovich Korolev (Jan 12, 1907 - Jan 14, 1966) - an outstanding scientist, farther of our country's rocket technology and space flight, Chief Designer of the legendary Special Design Bureau No.1 (OKB-1), the man who directed the work on the development of the first long-range ballistic missiles in our country, Earth artificial satellites, manned spacecraft, unmanned interplanetary probes.
