Soyuz TMA-09M docked with the ISS 5 hours 39 minutes after the launch!
Approach to the space station, its fly-around, stationkeeping and docking were performed normally, in automatic mode.
The initial contact with the docking port on the research module MRM1 Rassvet of the Russian segment of the ISS occurred at 06:10 Moscow Time.

Soyuz TMA-09M launched to the International Space Station!
The crew onboard the spacecraft consists of: F. Yurchikhin, L. Parmitano, K. Nyberg.
In accordance with the mission plan of the International Space Station (ISS) and Russian commitments under this international project, a manned transportation spacecraft Soyuz TMA-09M was launched from Baikonur launch site at 00:31:24 Moscow Time.
The objective of the launch is to deliver to ISS a crew of three in order to bring the crew of Expedition Thirty Six (ISS-36) up to six.

The State Commission held its meeting at Baikonur launch site where the primary and backup crews for Soyuz TMA-09M were approved and the readiness of the space launcher system was confirmed.

Soyuz launch vehicle was rolled out from the integration building to the launch pad. Soyuz launch vehicle with Soyuz TMA-09M transport vehicle is installed on the launch pad. L-2 days activities have been started.

Meetings of the Technical management under the chairmanship of S.P. Korolev RSC Energia President and General Designer V.A. Lopota and State commission were held. A decision on rollout of the launch vehicle with the Soyuz TMA-09M transport manned spacecraft to the launch facility and its preparation for launch planned for May 29, 2013 was adopted.

At 06:31, Moscow Time, the descent vehicle of Soyuz TMA-07M manned transportation spacecraft landed in its designated landing area to the South-East of Jezkazgan in Kazakhstan. All the operations associated with the descent, search and landing of the descent vehicle went normally.

Korolev Rocket and Space Corporation Energia, scientific advisor to scientific and technical center of the Corporation on engines, propulsion and power units, Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation, winner of Lenin and State Prizes of the USSR, prizes from the Government of the Russian Federation for science and technology, doctor of engineering science, professor Boris Alexandrovich Sokolov turned 90.
