NewsAugust 16, 2011. MAKS-2011, Zhukovskiy, Moscow regionS.P. Korolev Rocket and Space Corporation Energia takes part in the 10th International Aerospace Show. The Corporation's display is part of a joint exhibit mounted by companies and organizations of the Federal Space Agency (Roskosmos) and located in pavilion D1. Today, on the opening day of the show, the Corporation's stand was visited by the head of Roskosmos, V.A. Popovkin. S.P. Korolev RSC Energia's stand presents the company's work on manned spacecraft and space stations, space launchers and unmanned spacecraft in the past and at present, as well as its proposals for the future. The stand exhibits include:
The visitors to the stand showed a special interest in the conceptual model of the return vehicle of the new-generation manned transportation spacecraft. Info graphics on the stand demonstrate the Corporation's role as an integrator of large space projects from Yuri Gagarin's mission to the present day. Among the videos running on plasma panel screens are films about cosmonaut training and missions, footage shot onboard the ISS, the development and operation of the Russian Segment of which, as well as of its most important modules, is the responsibility of RSC Energia, and also about the Sea Launch project and other areas of activities. Visitors to the Aerospace Show can also get acquainted with printed materials published by the Corporation specifically for distribution at the Show. Under the program of Corporation activities at the exhibition, the management and leading specialists of RSC Energia began to hold meetings with representatives of foreign and Russian companies and organizations on subjects of mutual interest with repect to the current and future projects to develop and use rocket and space technology. We invite you to visit the RSC Energia stand in the Roskosmos pavilion while the Show is open (the last day of the Show is August 21)!
