Prelaunch processing of small Earth artificial satellite Kedr At a period of December 25 - 31, 2010 the integrated tests of Earth artificial satellite (EAS) Kedr were conducted at S.P. Korolev Rocket & Space Corporation Energia, then it was delivered to the Baikonur cosmodrome. EAS mass is 30 kg, its dimensions are the following 550 х 550 х 400 mm.
It is planned to provide EAS launch from board the International Space Station during the extravehicular activity of the Russian cosmonauts.

A TV communications session with the ISS crew On the Eve of New Year 2011, the Mission Control Center near Moscow held a TV communications session with the crew of the expedition to the International Space Station currently working in orbit.
President and General Designer of RSC Energia V.A. Lopota and the Flight Director, first deputy general designer of RSC Energia V.A. Soloviev wished the ISS crew and, personally, Russian cosmonauts A.Kalery, O.Skripochka and D.Kondratiev a happy New Year, good health and successful completion of the complex and intensive mission plan.

The Russian Soyuz TMA-20 manned transport vehicle docked to the International Space Station (ISS).
Following a two-day free flight in near-earth orbit Soyuz TMA-20 vehicle approached the ISS. The homing with the Station, its fly-around, stationkeeping and berthing were executed in the automatic mode.
A contact to the docking port of MRM1 Rassvet of the Station Russian Segment occurred at 23:12 Moscow time.

Soyuz TMA-20 prime crew The State Commission held its meeting at Baikonur launch site where the primary and backup crews for Soyuz TMA-20 were approved and the readiness of the space launcher system was confirmed.
The State Commission approved the proposed composition of the primary and backup crews.

Soyuz-FG/Soyuz TMA-20 launch vehicle on the launch pad At Baikonur launch site the preparations continue for the launch of Soyuz TMA-20 transport manned vehicle under the International Space Station program.
A rollout of the Soyuz spacecraft from the assembly-test facility to the launch site was provided. The Soyuz-FG launch vehicle with the Soyuz TMA-20 transport spacecraft was erected on the launch pad. Operations under the launch minus two days program began.
The launch of the Soyuz-FG integrated launch vehicle with the Soyuz TMA-20 spacecraft to the ISS Orbital Complex is planned for December 15, 2010.

In the LV Integration and Checkout Facility, the basic integration of the Soyuz-FG launch vehicle with the upper composite has been completed.

Meeting of the Technical management  and State commission' A meeting of the Technical management under the chairmanship of S.P. Korolev RSC Energia President and General Designer V.A. Lopota and State commission was held. A decision on rollout of the launch vehicle with the Soyuz TMA-20 transport manned spacecraft to the launch facility and its preparation for launch planned for December 15, 2010 was adopted.

Today a meeting of Technical Management was held where a decision to fill the Soyuz TMA-20 spacecraft with propellant components and compressed gases was accepted.

Soyuz TMA-20 prime crew in the Baikonur launch site Primary (Dmitriy Kondratiev (Roscosmos, Russia), Paolo Nespoli (ESA, Italy) and Catherine Coleman (NASA, USA)) and backup (Anatoliy Ivanishin (Roscosmos, Russia), Satoshi Furukawa (JAXA, Japan) and Michael Fossum (NASA, USA)) crews of the Soyuz TMA-20 transportation spacecraft arrived to the Baikonur launch site. At the airport they were met by members of the State Commission and Technical Management.
Commanders of the crews reported on their readiness for pre-flight training and Soyuz TMA-20 spacecraft acceptance.
