Mini Research Module ?1 (MRM1) Rassvet is introduced into the International Space Station Russian Segment, operations for its integration are started.
The Module docking to nadir docking port of Functional Cargo Block (FGB) Zarya have been performed. (The initial contact with the docking port occurred at 16:19:45 Moscow Time.)

U.S. Orbiter Atlantis (STS-132) in the payload bay of which this module is installed berthed pressurized adapter PMA-2 on Harmony Module at 18:28 Moscow Time.

Fifty years ago the first launch of the experimental manned satellite -spacecraft was performed. The manned spacecraft was designed for flights in near-earth orbit.
The spacecraft was developed under the direction of S.P. Korolev by the staff of OKB-1 (now it is S.P. Korolev RSC Energia) in co-operation with dozens of enterprises and organizations of this branch of industry.

The launch of the U.S. Atlantis orbiter in the payload bay of which besides the cargo envisaged for the USOS a new module of the ISS Russian Segment , namely Mini Research Module Rassvet is located, was performed from the Kennedy Space Center cosmodrome at Cape Canaveral, USA, Florida at 22:20 Moscow Time.

In compliance with the International Space Station (ISS) flight program the operation for redocking of the Soyuz ТМА-17 manned spacecraft from nadir docking port of Functional Cargo Block (FGB) Zarya of the ISS Russian Segment to the docking port of the Instrument Compartment of Service Module (SM) Zvezda was performed.
The main purpose of the operation is to clear FGB docking port for docking of the Russian Research Module Rassvet which is planned to be delivered to the ISS in May this year by the U.S. Atlantis orbiter.

Russian cargo transport vehicle (CTV) Progress M-05M after the autonomous flight according to a three-day rendezvous scheme docked to the International Space Station (ISS).
The vehicle rendezvous with the Station and berthing were performed in the automatic mode. Because of the automatic rendezvous mode failures at a distance of about 1000 m between the docking objects the Lead Operational Control Team and Technical Management accepted a decision to change over to the manual control mode of the docking. The ISS commander Oleg Kotov completed berthing and successfully docked the vehicle to the ISS.
