On December 1, 2011, they were reorganized into Aerospace Defense Forces, and since August 1, 2015 they have been reinstated as a branch of Aerospace Forces.

The cargo transportation spacecraft Progress M-29M has successfully docked to the aft docking port on the propulsion compartment of the Service Module (SM) Zvezda of the International Space Station (ISS).
The launch vehicle Soyuz-U carrying Progress M-29M was launched from Area 1 ("Gagarin's launch pad") of the Baikonur Cosmodrome on October 1 at 19:49:40 Moscow Time.The spacecraft used a "quick" six-hour flight profile to rendezvous with the station. The docking was accomplished on schedule during the 5th daily orbit of mission in fully automatic mode.

The cargo transportation spacecraft Progress M-29M developed and built by RSC Energia has been successfully put into a low Earth orbit by a launch vehicle and is now headed towards the International Space Station (ISS).
The launch vehicle Soyuz-U carrying Progress M-29M was launched from Area 1 ("Gagarin's launch pad") of the Baikonur Cosmodrome on October 1 at 19:49:40 Moscow Time. According to telemetry data, the spacecraft separated from the third stage of the launch vehicle normally at the expected time.
