Soyuz ТМА-12М manned vehicle docked to the International Space Station!
The docking of Soyuz TMA-12M manned transport vehicle with the International Space Station (ISS) was provided.
The vehicle rendezvous with the Station, its fly-around, stationkeeping and berthing were performed normally in the automatic mode.
A contact with the docking port of Module Poisk of the ISS Russian Segment occurred at 03:53 Moscow Time two days after the launch from the Baikonur cosmodrome.

Docking with International Space Station postponed till March 28.
Russian manned transportation spacecraft Soyuz TMA-12M has switched over to the standard free-flight program which calls for performing the rendezvous and docking with the International Space Station (ISS) two days after the launch, on March 28.

The crew onboard the spacecraft consists of: O. Artemyev, A. Skvortsov, S. Swanson.
In accordance with the mission plan of the International Space Station (ISS) and Russian commitments under this international project, a manned transportation spacecraft Soyuz TMA-12M was launched from Baikonur launch site at 01:17:23 Moscow Time.

The State Commission held its meeting at Baikonur launch site where the primary and backup crews for Soyuz TMA-12M were approved and the readiness of the space launcher system was confirmed.

Soyuz launch vehicle was rolled out from the integration building to the launch pad. Soyuz launch vehicle with Soyuz TMA-12M transport vehicle is installed on the launch pad. L-2 days activities have been started.

Meetings of the Technical management under the chairmanship of S.P. Korolev RSC Energia President and General Designer V.A. Lopota and State commission were held. A decision on rollout of the launch vehicle with the Soyuz TMA-12M transport manned spacecraft to the launch facility and its preparation for launch planned for March 26, 2014 was adopted.

In the LV Integration and Checkout Facility, the basic integration of the Soyuz-FG launch vehicle with the upper composite has been completed.

Oleg Germanovich ARTEMYEV (Roscosmos, Russia) and Steven Ray SWANSON (NASA, USA)) and backup (Aleksandr Mikhailovich SAMOKUTYAEV (Roscosmos, Russia), Elena Olegovna SEROVA (Roscosmos, Russia) and Barry Eugene WILMORE (NASA, USA)) crews of the Soyuz TMA-12M transportation spacecraft made a check inspection of the spacecraft in the launch configuration and got acquainted with equipment to be delivered and returned to the ground.

At 07:24 Moscow Time, descent module (DM) of Soyuz TMA-10M manned transport vehicle (MTV) made a landing in the design area 147 km to Soyuz-East of Jzhezkazgan, the Republic of Kazakhstan. All the operations associated with DM descent, search and landing passed normally.
