Within the framework of the 68th anniversary of the enterprise foundation, the youth event "Planet Energia" took place at S.P. Korolev Rocket - Space Corporation Energia.
The Corporation management together with the Young Specialists' Board sponsored the holiday for the youth from OAO RSC Energia and the subsidiary companies. The holiday took place on the territory of recreation center "Zvezdny", Sergiev Posad area, Moscow Region.

Corporation anniversary is a common special event for employees of RSC Energia and its affiliates

S.P. Korolev Rocket and Space Corporation Energia held events marking the 68th anniversary of the company. In the morning the senior managers of the Corporation and representatives of its subdivisions and affiliates, veterans of the company, cosmonauts, young scientists and specialists laid flowers to the monument to the outstanding scientist and designer, the founder of the company, academician S.P. Korolev located on the Corporate premises, as well as to memorial plaques installed at the entrance to the administrative building. Taking part in the ceremony of laying flowers were the acting President of the Corporation V.L. Solntsev and acting General Designer, member of the Russian Academy of Sciences V.P. Legostaev.

The Sea Launch Company declared that according to plans the launch missions under the Sea Launch program are suspended for 1 year. The enhancement of the launch activity is expected at a period of the mid 2015 to the mid 2016.

Automated cargo vehicle Georges Lemaitre has docked with the International Space Station. The joint Russian-European operation program for these vehicles development and flights is under completion

European automated transfer vehicle ATV-5 Georges Lemaitre the launch of which was performed on July 30, 2014 from the launch site of the Kourou cosmodrome in French Guiana at 03:47 Moscow Time successfully docked with the International Space Station (ISS).

Work and productive activity managers, project managers for rocket-space technology development, heads of shops, scientists, specialists, personnel of scientific and technical centers subdivisions, management and services, engineers, designers, workers, young specialists and young workers of RSC Energia and also representatives of the Management of Roscosmos, Administration of the Governor of Moscow region and Administration of Korolev city.

URSC: CHANGE OF RSC ENERGIA MANAGEMENT

Today, on August 1, 2014 a regular meeting of the Board of Directors of RSC Energia was held.
Members of the Board of Directors elected Igor KOMAROV, General Director of URSC as a new Chairman. Thereafter, the Board of Directors took a decision to suspend powers of Vitaly LOPOTA, President, General Designer of RSC Energia.
Vladimir SOLNTSEV, Executive Manager of NPO Energomash, was appointed acting single-member executive body (President) of RSC Energia.
