In this report the measurement results are presented of the ACE Benchmark Suite, run on a variety of UNIX based systems, ranging from personal computers, through workstations, to multi-processor superminis.
New versions of the report are published yearly. This 1988 edition of the report "Benchmarking UNIX Systems" contains the results for many new systems, besides some which were already present in the previous, September 1987 issue.
ACE carries out benchmark measurements on systems at a customer's request and produces a report, either confidential or for publication in this book. This is just one of our systems evaluation services; other evaluation services include numerous validation suites and general consultancy.
