The flying laboratories, which are designed on the basis of the "IL-76 MDK" wide-body airplane, can create short-term weightless conditions. To achieve a short-term micro-gravity, the aircraft flies in a parabolic pattern (Kepler curve), rising to a height of about 20,000 feet, and then curving downward. Weightlessness lasts for 25 seconds and can be recreated up to 15 times within one flight. The Zero-G flight lasts 1,5 hours. Total time of weightlessness conditions can be approximately 450 seconds. The ATLAS Aerospace is using the flying laboratories for carrying out technological tests and studies of different space-related systems, devices, assemblies, biomedical studies of organisms and their behavior under weightless conditions and in reduced weightlessness ("Lunar", "Martian" and other types of gravity), and also for commercial flights and advertising projects. The airplane volume (3,4m У 3,2m У 14.1 Л), as well as the payload of experimental equipment, allocated in the laboratory compartment, advantageously single out our airplane from the similar ones in the world. The results of tests and experiments are registered by the standard on-board aircraft systems and additional test- and measuring equipment of the customer. The video- and photo-shooting are also available on board, as well as the subsequent processing of all the taken video- and photo- materials. Prices and Services
