RVS Viewer

The RVS Viewer is visualisation tool written Java. It makes use of the RVS web service to provide all its visualisation functionality. Some of the features of the application include:

• Display of remote FITS images
• Position tracking
• 14 predefined colormaps
• Region/factor zooming
• Intensity range selection
• World or Pixel coordinate representation
• Axis Labels (partial or full grid)
• Spectral and Directional unit selection
• Absolute or relative coordinates
• Reference frame conversions
• Multidimensional image support
• Viewing slices of (greater than 2D) images
• Display axes rotation
