Trouble Shooting

PCFS time is wrong

Normally the PCFS synchronizes its time from from the S2 formatter. Typing the command:

 > sy=run setcl offset &

Will resynchronize the time. If the S2 is not connected to the DAS (e.g. for disk recording) then use the command

 > sy=run setcl cpu &

PCFS time will not update (complains time is off by greater than 2 weeks)

Try rebooting the PC. The PCFS time mechanism does not work if the PC has not been rebooted within the last 268 days.

PCFS complains about missing 1 Hz

Plug the S2 into the DAS if not doing a disk based experiment
