XRAID chassis faults
9/2/09 - Xraid05 could not connect properly to the xserve admin tools, even with a software reset. Hard reboot required, to the extent of removing power cables (again), as the right hand side (тАЬlower controllerтАЭ) did not respond to being powered down with the button on the back of the chassis. IP address unchanged.
6/2/09 - Xraid04 shut down incorrectly when powered down - left hand side partly shut down, right hand side remained operational (according to lights). Power cables had to be physically removed and replaced and the entire chassis effectively reset to resolve the problem. xraid admin tools are reconfigured for the new IP and no damage seems to have been done either to the chassis or to the disks which were in it.
