Centaurus A at ultra-high energies

Abstract: As it is the closest active galaxy, Centaurus A has been a natural target for searches for very high energy and ultra high energy photons and particles. In this presentation, the searches made and techniques used to detect emission from Centaurus A will be reviewed, setting the stage for contributed talks later in the programme.
