Comments:

A) (Tidal) clouds at high velocities (v > 500 km/s):

• HIPASS J0731-69, v = 1490 km/s, previously unknown tidal cloud complex associated with NGC 2442 (v = 1450 km/s, HIPASS J0736-69) and other group members (Ryder et al. 2001, ApJ, submitted)

• HIPASS J1227+01, v = 1287 km/s, known as HI 1225+01 or the Virgo HI cloud (Haynes & Giovannelli 1989)

B) HI clouds or protogalaxies at low velocities (v < 500 km/s):

• HIPASS J1618-55, v = 400 km/s, extended source also known as HIZSS 102, HI cloud or galaxy ? (Staveley-Smith et al. 1998, AJ 116, 2717 )

• HIPASS J1712-64, v = 455 km/s, HI cloud without optical counterpart (Kilborn et al. 2000, AJ 120, 1342)

• HIPASS J1718-59, v = 391 km/s , a huge HI cloud near HIPASS J1712-64 (Koribalski et al. 2001, Nature, in prep.)

• HIPASS J1912-67, v = 420 km/s (another cloud complex)
