Histograms of the HI brightest galaxies in the southern sky

The properties shown below were derived from the measurd HI properties.

Figure 4a: Histogram of Local Group velocities.

Displayed here are the Local Group velocities of all sources from -300 to +8000 km/s (bins are 100 km/s).

Figure 4b: Histogram of Distances (V_LG/Ho).

Displayed here are the distances of all sources (assuming Ho = 75 km/s/Mpc). The first bin is dominated by the HVCs and HI clouds.

Figure 4c: Histogram of HI masses.

Displayed here are the HI masses of all sources (assuming point source distribution). Extended galaxies and pairs/groups need to be re-measured.

Figure 4d: Histogram of log HI masses.

Same as Fig. 4c, but the x-axis is logarithmic.

Figure 4e: Histogram of Galactic Latitudes.
