The AT antennas were adjusted after their outer perforated panels were replaced with solid-surface panels. Holography was used to guide the adjustments. Some before and after images are shown here.

Antenna 2 - before and Antenna 2 - after are typical images. The surface errors are in the range òÀÓ0.3 to 0.3 mm. A summary of the improvement shows on the left the original surface, the adjustment required and the adjusted surface. The histograms on the right refer to the original and adjusted surfaces.
