ATPMN sources on a polar plot of the sky south of Dec = -38 degrees.ˆà The open red circles show fields containing a source too extended for ATCA imaging: no sources were found, but the maximum visibility exceeded 30 mJy.

The ATCA observations observed fields centred on all PMN sources between -38.5 and -87.5 degrees with 4.85 GHz fluxes > 70 mJy (> 50 mJy south of -73 deg).ˆà Fields on the galactic plane (|b| < 2 deg) were omitted.
