Next Tuesday February 10th we will have TWO very interesting talks at the ATNF Lecture Theater.
The first talk, "The role of the IAU" by Ron Ekers, belongs to the "Galaxy Lunch" talks coordinated by Baerbel.
The second talk, "HIPASS revisited", by Mark Calabretta, is part of the "ATNF HI Discussion Group" talks that Neeraj and me initialized last year (if you want to know more about such informal meetings, please contact Neeraj or me).
We're sure many people, and not only from the ATNF, will be interested in such topics, so they will be held at the ATNF LECTURE THEATER instead of the ATNF Basement conference room (that is the usual place).
There will be coffee, tea, juice, cookies and cheese in a 5-10 minutes break between both talks, at around 13:25h.

Abstract:
I will briefly review the progress made in reprocessing the HIPASS and ZOA surveys, and also describe the 1.4GHz continuum data reduction.
