Fully Digital Receivers for Radio-Astronomy -- Paul Roberts Colloquium

Fully digital receivers offer many advantages in modern receiving systems in the areas of integration, flexibility, cost and performance. In this talk I will discuss digital receivers in general, their advantages and challenges in current and future radio telescopes, and look at some of the work we have begun doing in this direction in the Division.
