The Australian AIPS++ Users Group

An Australian AIPS++ Users Group (AAUG) was recently formed. The group includes seven members and it met for the first time on 29 July 2002. The group will assist with feedback on the AIPS++ software and serve as a contact for AIPS++ related matters within the Australian astronomy community. At the first meeting, David Barnes was elected chair until 31 March 2003. The AAUG will meet every two months to discuss and share experiences in AIPS++ usage. A report will be submitted twice each year, in September and March, to the ATNF AIPS++ management prior to the start of each AIPS++ development cycle.
