Merry Christmas from the Galaxy Evolution group at the University of Zagreb!
We did our Christmas day ATCA shift from the comfort of our home remote
observing station. We spent the nice, RFI-free time collecting 2.1 GHz
radio continuum observations of the XXL-South galaxy cluster field to do
redshift evolution studies of active and star forming galaxies. XXL is the
Large Scale Structure Survey with the XXM-Newton X-ray space observatory. (In the above picture: Jacinta Delhaize and Nikola Baran). |
