| An Evening with Astronauts
Free public event – Lecture / Book Signing
October 11, 2012, 7-9 pm. Family event for all ages!
The Clay Center Observatory hosts Astronauts Jerry Carr and Dan Burbank (who considers himself an amateur astronomer) for an educational evening program followed by a book signing and autographs.
Parents, students, and members of the community are invited to join us for a special evening program with astronauts Jerry Carr and Dan Burbank. Mr. Carr was a commander of the orbiting SKYLAB space station in 1974 and will sign his book Around the World in 84 Days. Mr. Burbank just recently returned from his latest mission as commander of the International Space Station (ISS) and will sign autographs after the program.
Reservations are free for this limited-seating public event.
