Comet Garradd and M 15 Periodic Comet Garradd (C/2009 P1) shining at magnitude 6 has been an easy object to observe throughout the evening sky this year. During the latter part of July, the comet passed the globular cluster Messier 15 in the constellation of Pegasus. This image was taken one day before the closest approach to the cluster.
