Dec. 21st Total Lunar Eclipse; Partial phase through the clouds I decided to maintain a vigil at my apartment in hopes that I would get a break in the clouds. Around 1 am I could see the outline of the full Moon shining through the low cloud deck. The transparency was horrible, it was snowing and the wind made the subfreezing conditions even worst. Around 1:41 EST (06:41UT) I took a few images of the partial phase before the clouds thickened and completely obscured the Moon for the rest of the night. 1/100-second, f/8, ISO 800.
