North America Nebula and Pelican Nebula North America Nebula (NGC7000) and Pelican Nebula (IC5070). This ionized Hydrogen region in Cygnus is next to the star Deneb and covers a region greater then 3-degrees. Interstellar dust and dark gas clouds give the nebula its shape.
