Main research interests:
1.The evolution of the gaseous content of the Universe: distribution
of the neutral and ionized gas in large scale cosmic structures,
such as Lyman-alpha absorbing clouds and dwarf galaxies at
various cosmological times. Estimates of the cosmological baryonic
content.
2.Dark matter in cosmological structures: test of cosmological models
through the determination of the possible dark matter density in
the center and in the outermost regions of late type galaxies.
3.The ISM and IGM in our Local Group: the effects of the cosmic web
and background radiations on our Local faintest and bright galaxies.
Observations and theoretical modelling of ISM structures and thermal
phases in M31 and M33 and of the processes which regulates the star
formation.
