Radioastronomy Data Policy

Policy for ownership of spectroscoic data

Although it is possible por an observer to carry away his/her data, and reduce them at home, we ask all observer to leave a copy of their data in the Arcetri spectroscopic archive.

In this way, we can guarantee a consistent calibration and preprocessing. Moreover, since usually several observing programs share telescope time, it may be rather cumbersome to separate data by program.

Intellectual property of these data remains to the project PI, for up to five years. Data older than five years are assumed to be public, unless differently stated with the project PI.
