Research activitiesSince 2004 I'm involved in the development of high order Adaptive Optics systems for ground based telescopes.I'm specialized in AO system calibration and in pyramid wavefront sensor development and integration. The main projects I'm currently involved are: - SOUL: Single conjugated adaptive Optics Upgrade for the Large Binocular Telescope - SHARK: System for coronagraphy with High order Adaptive optics from R to K band (Large Binocular Telesope) - NGWS: the Natural Guidestar Wavefront Sensor for the Giant Magellan Telecope - The Pyramid Wavefront Sensor for ERIS (collaboration with ESO) - FLAO: First Light Adaptive Optics of the Large Binocular Telescope (press relase) - AO system for the LBTI (collaboration with the Arizona University - USA) - Magellan Adaptive Optics system (collaboration with the Steward Observatory - USA) The main past projects: - High Order Testbench (Opticon - JRA1 collaboration with ESO) - the Active Phasing Experiment (WP4600 ELT Design Study - FP6) |
