Welcome!

I am a Young Scientist fellow at National Institute for Astrophysics (INAF-OAA, Arcetri Astrophysical Observatory) in Florence (ITALY). My office is located at the premises of the Department of Physics and Astronomy of the University of Florence on the Arcetri hill.
My research interests and activities concerns the field of technologies and electronic instrumentation for ground and space-based Astrophysics and Polarimetry/Spectropolarimetry. I'm involved in the design and development of satellite On Board Data Processing Electronics and SW for the METIS Processing and Power Unit (MPPU) of the coronagraph of the Solar Orbiter Mission and the Shadow Position Sensors (SPS) of the ASPIICS Coronagraph on-board the ESA Proba3 satellite. I'm also involved as a System Engineer for the development of the Instrument Control Unit (ICU) of the PLATO Mission and EChO/ARIEL Mission and as a member of the Team working on the Herschel II/SCORE coronagraph on-board an US/NRL sub-orbital rocket to be re-launched after the first successful 2009 mission.
I also worked on Payload Data Processing Electronics and both on CCD and CMOS sensors with their proximity and readout electronics, on fast diamond detectors readout electronics for Synchrotron beam positioning monitors and I was interested in low frequency electro-magnetic simulations for civil pourposes.
In this website you'll find any information about my past and present works, my Ph.D Thesis, my publications and presentations and more. For any question, curiosity or further information please contact me at the following address:
