First Announcement

This is the first announcement of the School of Astrophysics "Francesco Lucchin" for PhD students to be held in Populonia (Li) during the week May 25-29, 2015.

Aims of the School

The School of Astrophysics "Francesco Lucchin" is addressed to PhD students in Astronomy and Physics and it is open also to interested young researchers. The aim of the school is to contribute to their qualification and provide a common cultural baseline on hot topics of international research, both observational and theoretical.

Registration and Deadlines

The deadline for the registration is 13th April 2015. It is possible to apply using the on-line registration form at this page. Applicants will receive an email confirming their registration.
For practical reasons the maximum number of participants will be 60. In case more people apply, priority will be given to PhD students. The final list of participants will be given by 15th April 2015. Participants will have to confirm by 20th April 2015 that they will attend the school.
The school fee is 150 euro, including accommodation in shared room, breakfast and dinner at the Poggio allтАЩAgnello resort, and bus transport from/to the nearby train station. The fee should be paid before the registration deadline by direct bank transfer to the INAF account:
