Fasti-L3CCD - Basic Ideas

The configuration of Fasti-L3CCD will be:

• It will be adapted to the new Marconi L3CCD detector
• A very fast (> 16 Mhz) analog to digital conversion at 1 bit.
• The analogic part will be compatible with the Marconi analogic boards
• Fast (> 16Mbit/sec) digital input board. The speed can be reached by means of parallelization. The board we have already can get 32 measurements at time at 500KHz.
• The software will be adapted and simplified from The Xnir-Xnics series, for development speed sake.
• Laboratory unit: can be assembled fast.
