Galaxies, Cosmology, and AGN group
The Extragalactic group is involved in different research lines using various methods, from theory to observations in all spectral bands (from gamma rays to radio waves): the primordial universe; the physical and evolutionary properties of galaxies from high to low redshift; the physical processes in Active Galactic Nuclei and their connections with the host galaxies; the properties of Supernovae in the local universe and at high redshift; the gas, the dust, and the dark matter in quiescent and starbust galaxies.
