Some Recent RR Lyra Measurements Taken From MRO

This RR Lyrae star (302129) was discovered by Scott Anderson and Armin Rest using imaging data from the Sloan Digital Sky Survey. The attached plot is a folded light curve of data taken by Brandon Lawton and Bridget Kaeding this summer (2000) with MRO (the open squares). The open circles are data from the Lowell Observatory Near Earth Object Search (LONEOS) database. Because both observatories caught this star on the rising branch, we can get the period quite accurately.
