Construction Cover Frame: September 14,
1999
Currently being served up at Chez French is the
assembly of the framing for the cover to the telescope to be used
during construction.

The design is all
French; the execution is CVE. These photos show 1/3 of the
framing assembled. There are two other sections which will
be shown at a later date.

The frame is attached
to the enclosure rail ties when the enclosure is OFF the
telescope. The frame is extended by lowering a long handle
and securing it to the pier. This mechanism will be altered
as the rest of the frame is completed.

The balance of the
framing is shown as well as the attachment hardware. Photos
of the complete frame will be made available upon
assembly.
