Pre-assembly and testing of the echelle goes on in the 2.5m work area and on the intermediate level of the 3.5m.
Jeff Sundwall/UC has arrived to contribute to the effort. He lends his expertise and light touch making adjustments to the camera. Note the glee in his smile!!
While Jeff moves on to work on the front end of the camera.
The work being done on the observing level has been moved back downstairs. The errant FedEx box has been found in Las Cuces, and thanks to some eager-beaver grad students from NMSU, they will pickup and bring here tonight.
Shui and Connie are putting the optics into the tank this weekend. The tank should be mounted on Monday. More pictures to come then.
