Cloudy start to the day put the photo gods must have been
with us because the clouds pulled back just in time.
It was really so cool. Our deep appreciatiation to
Chopper Bob Martin/KRQE-CBS in Albuquerque and Gary and
Charles from KRWG-PBS at NMSU. This was quite a resource to
be offered to APO. Dan hung out the window and took stills
and said they are going to be spectacular.
Many special thanks to the folks who assisted on the
ground: Jon and Brennan Davis for these photos and working
the 3.5m, Kurt for operating the 1.0m and his upcoming
stills, and French, Carlos, Lynn and Larry C. for keeping
the PT and 2.5m under control.
We'll mount the results as soon as possible, and of
course we will have the b-roll video footage sometime in
September.
Look for the little bug in the photos - that's the
helicopter.
It was just too way-kewl ;)
