BRIEF SCIENCE JUSTIFICATION:  

	We propose to determine the fundamental properties (Color,
	Age, Distance, Metallicity, and Reddening) of the unstudied
	open clusters Dol Dzim 5, 8, and 9 using the 0.5 m ARCsat
	telescope.  Past studies of these clusters have been limited
	to analysis of data taken by the 2MASS survey in the JHK
	bands. These open clusters are situated at latitudes above the
	galactic plane (+43.875, +28.805, and+22.259 respectively),
	which is unusual for open clusters, and are relatively large
	(13.5', 2.5', 7.0').  Age and Distance will be determined by
	fitting Isochrones, created by the Dartmouth Stellar Evolution
	Database, to color magnitude diagrams which we will create for
	each cluster. Metallicities will be determined using comparing
	Colors found using a combination of Washington and SDSS
	filters in the method developed by Joanne Hughes Clark et al.
