The mosaic camera arrives this morning (10/22) at 10am MDT. It is parked at the 3.5m enclosure for unloading.
The camera was offloaded without incident by 4pm. Here are some quick and dirty photos.
Princeton group (Jim Gunn, Mike Carr, Ernst deHaas, Zelko Ivesick) arrive and huddle to determine how to off load all this "stuff".
Mike Carr carries off the first box (with a little help from Richard Lucinio)
All this "stuff" needs to be unloaded; plenty of hands around to help!
Jim Gunn and Jon Brinkmann 'carefully' (and apparently with some humor) unload the CCD's and take them inside.

Attentive public servants from the Forest Service give moral support to the efforts.
Parts of the doghouse come next
A-ha! The new leak detector, disguised as a packing crate.

Change in plans! Securing the camera to move to the enclosure to offload.
CAREFULLY offloading the camera into the 3.5m enclosure
"first light of day" the camera sees at APO
THE CAMERA (pretty in pink) note the neat dials and gauges
Jim is happy with the delivery and signs the papers--we told them the check was in the mail!
