The evening of 10/28 saw the saddle mounted to the camera (which is attached to the rotator). It's cart appears positioned under the telescope and the doghouse is in the rear view.
Angie Prosapio and Russet McMillan/APO work on positioning the saddle.
Mike Carr, Jon Davis, Russ McMillan, and John Brinkmann hookup the camera to the jib hoist, using a hydrastat to cushion it's ride.
Mike Carr and John Brinkmann breathe a sigh of relief as the camera makes it's way towards the clean room.
Maki Sakaguchi/JPG, Craig Loomis/APO, Allyn Smith/UNMi, and Dave Summers/NMSU, along with Mike and Jon B., gather round for a last opportunity to see the camera before beginning it's hybernation in the clean room.
